Today, the spirit of victory and community filled Lister & Sherrington House Nursing Homes as residents and staff gathered to commemorate the 80th anniversary of VE Day.

The homes were transformed into a festive scene, alive with the sound of music, laughter, and camaraderie. Sporting cheerful Union Jack bowler hats and enthusiastically waving flags, everyone embraced the occasion with joy. Residents and staff enjoyed a traditional celebration complete with lively games, delightful coffees and cakes, all shared beneath vibrant festive bunting.

It was a truly special day, honoring an important moment in history while creating new, warm memories together.
