Intergenerational Craft Session at Lister & Sherrington House
The halls of Lister & Sherrington House were filled with energy and laughter today, thanks to a heartwarming visit from the children of St. Philip’s School. This engaging event is part of our ongoing commitment to intergenerational linking, a project that brings together the young and the old for shared, meaningful experiences.
During the visit, residents and students partnered up for a wonderful craft session. Together, they created personalised labels, a simple yet powerful activity that sparked conversation and collaboration. It was truly fantastic to witness the children and residents sharing stories, trading smiles, and working side-by-side. These moments highlight the joy and creativity that flourish when different generations connect.
We are already counting down the days until the children’s next visit! We look forward to continuing this special partnership and creating even more cherished memories for our residents and the students.
