A Fluffy Surprise: Luke and King Kong Visit Aegis Residential Care Home

Yesterday, our hallways at Aegis Residential Care Home were filled with more than just our usual chatter. We had some very special, very furry visitors! Our residents were absolutely over the moon to welcome Luke and King Kong, two charming alpacas from the wonderful team at AlTreka.

Spreading Joy, One Room at a Time

The boys didn’t just stay in the garden! Luke and King Kong took a grand tour of our home, visiting residents in the communal lounges. They also stopped by individual bedrooms for some one-on-one snuggles.

Watching our residents light up as they petted the soft fleece and looked into those big, gentle eyes was truly magical. Whether it was a quiet moment of connection or a burst of laughter, the presence of these quirky animals transformed the atmosphere of the entire home.
