A Joyful Visit from St Philips CE Academy
On Monday, Lister and Sherrington House Nursing Homes were delighted to welcome the talented students of St Philips CE Academy.
The children brought smiles to everyone’s faces with their wonderful selection of songs.
The clients were thoroughly entertained by the performance, and all of us were impressed by the pupils’ beautiful singing voices. The visit was a resounding success, with both the children and the clients thoroughly enjoying the interaction. We can’t wait to have them back again soon!
Building Bridges Between Generations
Our partnership with St Philips School is part of the Linking Network Intergenerational Linking programme. This fantastic initiative aims to connect young schoolchildren with older individuals living in care homes, fostering understanding and building bridges between generations.
